Material
The Custom Fiberglass Products tank shall be constructed of glass reinforced
solid laminated plastic, the ultimate insurance against possible leaks. The
durable material requires no maintenance, is lighter in weight than steel or
aluminum This material used is high-impact resistant wax free polyester resin.
Shell
Shell is one piece seamless female vertical wall molded with all exterior
longitudinal corners having 1" radius. All 3/8" floor with 5/16" bulkheads
and sides reinforced and tested for integrity and ZERO leakage. Outside flange
design for fully removable lid design. Exterior is red in color.
Baffles
Baffle partitions shall be constructed of reinforced 5/16" POL-E material.
Main baffle partition shall be a one piece design and extend from front to rear
of the tank. All baffle partitions are reinforced and integrated to side walls
to provide greatest strength and allow maximum air and water flow, minimum surging,
and to comply with NFPA 1901. Main baffle shall be reinforced to tank walls,
floor and lid.
Fully Removable Lid
The lid shall be a bolt down fully removable and designed to allow full
access to the tank. Lid will be 5/16" composite laminate reinforced construction.
Lid is bolted in place with stainless steel bolts, with no part of the bolts
making contact with the tanks contents. Bolts are located on 4" centers around
full lid perimeter and transverse baffle on 8" centers. Lid is sealed with
a full perimeter closed cell neoprene gasket. Exterior is red in color.
Fill Tower
The fill tower shall be 9" square with hinged, spring loaded access
lid with a plastic screen strainer.
Overflow
There shall be a 3" ID overflow pipe installed from the fill tower
to the bottom of the tank. The overflow pipe shall be sch 40 with discharge
to beneath tank through floor.
Couplings
All threaded couplings shall be CFP's special PVC schedule 80 pipe fittings.
Each coupling shall be bonded to the tank shell. All intakes shall have a pressure
deflector bonded to the back side to direct pressure away from partitions and
reduce agitation.
Air Vent
There shall be an air escape venting in the tank to allow maximum fill capacity
should the vehicle be parked on unlevel ground.
Sight Level
There shall be a sight level on one side of the rear of the tank. The sight
level shall be a series of slots or recessed tube from the top to the bottom
of the tank allowing the water level inside the tank to be seen without the
assistance of electrical instruments. Sight level glass cleanout plug standard.
Sump Area
Sump area will be located near the center and at the rear of the tank with
the suction connection plumbed in with oversized pipe. An anti-swirl baffle
that functions like a low level strainer is installed to insure the strong non-cavitating
operation of the pump.
Pump Platform
The pump platform will be made of non-corrosion FRP sheet material with
two structural FRP 4' high I-beams located to support the deck and provide a
space under the deck for tool storage. A tool stop is located at approx. 6"
from rear to keep tools in easy reach. A red/white strip of scotchlite reflective
tape is affixed to a rear deck flange for nighttime visibility.
Mounting
Each skid will have a procedure for mounting depending on the design that
is chosen and the vehicle that it will be mounted on. Mounting procedures are
to be approved by CFP prior to delivery. Clip angles, springs and washers supplied

Pump Model

Battery
(Optional - Suggest using battery system on P/U Truck). This eliminates
running pump dry to charge pump battery.
Primer
The pump shall be equipped with an exhaust type primer system which uses
the __ HP engines cylinder to develop vacuum.
Pump Panel
There shall be a lighted ___ pump mount panel with gauge.
Valves
All suction and discharge valves shall be ___ or equal ___ psi double seat
bronze swing out ball valves.
Suction
There shall be a ___" suction connection located at the pump operator's
area facing rear with a ___" FNST chrome swivel supplied with a plug. There
shall be a ___" tank to pump valve located behind the pump operator's area.
Discharge
There shall be a pump manifold system with one ___" NSTM discharge
valve and fitting. There shall be a ___ " tank fill valve, and ___ "
valve for the ___. All of the above installed as needed with flexible connections
from the manifold to the (real, tank, etc.) components.
Garden Hose Spigot (Optional or Supplied)

Hose Reel (Optional or Supplied)

Warranty
The tank shall be issued a Custom Fiberglass Products Unlimited Time (lifetime+)
with $200 dollar per day out of service Warranty. Pump warranty is one year
from pump manufacturer and engine warranty from engine manufacturer. Valves
are warranted 1 year by valve manufacturer. Reel is warranted for 1 year from
reel manufacturer.
