Material
The CFP tank shall be constructed of multi-layered fiber reinforced polyester, we call POL-E GOLD. This plastic resin and composite reinforcement provide the ultimate in non-corrosive strength, durability and prevention against leaks. This rugged material requires no maintenance, is lighter in weight than steel or aluminum and welded poly sheet tanks. This tank has ___ gallons of water and ___ gallons of foam capacity.

Shell
The shell is a seamless two piece structure. The lower section has a square flat base section 4" tall at the center then a curved elliptical shaped wall to a recessed flange joint at the tank curve centerline. The top half is an elliptical shape with a 24" square access portal on the top. All exterior corners have ¼" radius. Walls, floor and baffles are reinforced and tested for integrity and ZERO leakage. The exterior is white, gray or red (select).

A recessed flange design is used to eliminate water contact with the stainless steel bolts, make the outside of the tank even with the outside tank walls and to allow clean placement within the body panels or for wet side exposed finish panels. These flange sections add extensive reinforcement rigidity and strength to the structure.

Baffles (POL-E GOLD's Ultra Flow System)
Baffle partitions form a system for kinetically controlling water surges and shall be constructed of reinforced POL-E GOLD material. Each baffle partition shall be one piece design and extend from side to side, floor to floor and to within 1" of mid height, in both the top and bottom shell halves. Staggered locations for lower and upper baffle halves provide total access to tank interior compartments and are constructed with 1 ½" by 90 degree flanges at tank mid section for added rigidity. Integrated to the main baffles are channel shaped tie in baffles running lengthwise between baffles on the centerline in both top and bottom sections to provide maximum strength throughout. Tie in baffles at the access port are spaced 24" apart to provide a walkway. All baffles are designed to allow maximum air and water flow and control water surging to comply with NFPA 1901.

Access Port
The access port will be a 24" square, clear opening with a POL-E hinged lid and latches located on the centerline (approximately). It shall be designed to allow full access to the tank along with the baffle system. Lid will be 5/16" composite laminate reinforced construction. The lid is bolted in place with stainless steel bolts, and no part of the bolts make contact with the tanks contents. Fang bolts are located on 4" centers around the lid perimeter and on main transverse baffle on 8" centers. The lid is sealed with a full perimeter closed cell neoprene gasket. Exterior is gold or white or for wet side tanks, to match tank color.

Fill Tower (Option)
The fill tower shall be 6", 9", 10" or 12" square or 12" x 15" rectangular with hinged, spring loaded access lid with a plastic screen strainer.

Overflow
There shall be a standard 6" ID overflow pipe installed from the access port tower to the bottom of the tank. The overflow pipe shall be schedule 40 with discharge to beneath tank through floor. Standard is a recessed pocket that places the overflow pipe flush to the floor line.

Couplings
All couplings smooth, threaded or flanged shall be CFP special manufactured polyurethane tank fittings. Each coupling shall be bonded into the tank shell. All intakes shall have a pressure deflector to direct pressure away from partitions and reduce agitation. Many styles and size CFP fittings are available to meet both application and NFPA requirements.

Sump
Sump will be located with the suction connection plumbed to below floor line using full flow 4" schedule 40 PVC pipe. An integral anti-swirl low level strainer is installed to insure the strong non-cavitating operation of the pump. A 3" full flow drain plug is installed in the bottom for flushing debris and draining.

Valves (Drop style for full discharge of load)
Dump valves shall be ___ of ___" sized square or round flanged discharges.

Tank to Pump
There shall be ___ of ___" suction connection(s) smooth ___ or NPTF ____

Pump to Tank
There shall be a ___" fill ___ NSTF with deflector per NFPA standards.

Direct Fill
There shall be ___ of ___" fills NSTF with deflector(s) located on the rear bulkhead of the tank.

Foam Cell(s) (Option)
There shall be a foam cell(s) of ___ gallons and ___ gallons. All foam cells shall be equipped with gasketed fill tower, vent, screen and outlet.

Warranty
The tank shall be issued a Custom Fiberglass Products Unlimited Time warranty with $200 per day out of service guarantee and transfer option.
